Grasping Your Goals
Throughout my entire life I have heard people tell me to think positively. I would think to myself ok, 'things are going well and I can do it'. Whenever I would be in the weight room the coach would always yell "You can do it!" to any person struggling under the heavy weights. Unfortunately these statements meant nothing to me, and only provided a repetitive statement that seemed to conflict with my cynical and sarcastic mindset.
I could make no connection between my mind set and my current position in life. As I continued through my life I would see people content every day and wonder how they could maintain their happiness. I began researching what positive thinking is and the effect it has. In conclusion, every site rationalized that if a person wants to attain anything they need to set goals and constantly keep reminding themselves of their goals.
While researching I came across a site that advertised "the power of affirmations and how to attain any goal you set". At this point I was very tired of people telling me what I need to do, and showing me no way to do it. I bought the advertised software.
After I started using the software I was surprised by its ease of use and efficiency. I was setting goals left and right and actually reaching them!
