Alpha Sound Technology

In this post I will talk about Alpha Sound Technology, what it is and why it is effective. After using the computer software Sculptor 3 (here is the link:http://www.goal-attaining.com/) I noticed that this product boasted about using "alpha sound technology", but I nor anyone I talked to knew what such a thing was. After researching this topic I have posted my findings below.

The term Alpha refers to the frequency in which the sound is emitted at. For those of you that are unfamiliar; sound travels in waves which have corresponding frequencies. The frequency determines how many times it repeats in a certain time. The human threshold for frequencies is now lower than 20 cycles per second. This means that we cannot detect alpha waves, but past researchers reported large advantages of the alpha sound. Scientists were able to "synthesize" this sound by using a 600 cycles audio generator and interrupting the sound 10 times per second.

When a person is exposed to these "alpha sounds" their brain synchronizes into a more focused/aware state. This means that each half (left and right) focuses on the same waves to "hear" not only the sound coming in through your left of right ear, but a third "ghost" tone. The technical term for this "ghost" tone is a binaural beat and it pulses at the exact difference between the two tones. For example if a wave coming in your right ear was 90cps(cycles per second) and the other in your left ear was 100cps the binaural beat would be 10cps.

The effects of this binaural beat is seen in any form of mental meditation, cases of "insight" or euphoria. This mental meditation could be yoga, changing, meditation, etc., but only individuals who are masters at meditation can attain such a heightened state.

The utilization of alpha sound technology allows scientists and marketers to create certain binaural beats that stimulate and influence specific areas of the mind. For example a website advertises the elimination of jet lag using alpha wave technology. It seems this new technology could be very beneficial.


In conclusion, the proven scientific elements incorporated in the Sculptor 3 software are valid. It might seem like scientific jargon advertising alpha sound technology, but has proven to be extremely effective. I was very surprised in the findings on how effective alpha sound technology is and know it is a key reason why Sculptor 3 is so effective.
